Nacatamales!

The nacatamales here are delicious.  It is the best tamale I have ever had.  Our friend Isabel picked some up for us this morning.  The nacatamale is wrapped in a plantain husk and steamed for an entire day.  It is made of corn, tomatoes and pork.   I ate mine for lunch.  Nicaraguans eat their nacatamales for breakfast.  On Monday, Isabel is going to teach us how to make handmade tortillas.  We have to go to the mercado and pick up masaca (corn flour) so she can teach us.  Tomorrow we are going to the Choco Museo and learn how to make chocolate.  I cannot wait!
